How we respond to conflict can have both positive and negative effects on productivity, employee stress and health, turnover, creativity, communication, and finding meaningful solutions to problems (Brooks, 2016). Further, research indicated that conflict consumes anywhere from 24 to 60 percent of management’s time (Fiore, 2009).
